Car dealership

Alexanders Prestige

About the project

Alexanders Prestige brings the dealership's main services onto one website: finding a car, selling one and arranging servicing. The catalog pairs large photographs with details such as model, year, mileage and colour.

The site needs to show the cars well and help customers act on what they find. Search, listings and service sections each have a clear role, so visitors can move from browsing to an enquiry about a car or service.

How it works

  1. Browse the cars

  2. View the details

  3. Ask about a car

Buyers search the available cars, narrow the selection and open a listing for photos and specifications. Those details help them decide which car to ask about.

Selling and servicing have their own sections. A seller can enquire about their car, while an owner can follow the service booking route. Each starts with information relevant to their task.

The main challenges

The main challenge is giving the car photography room without burying search, specifications or enquiry links. The opening image should draw people in, then let them continue into the catalog easily.

Buying, selling and servicing also need different information. Keeping those choices visible in the navigation lets each page focus on its own task, rather than sending every customer to the same contact form.

The simpler parts

Vehicle cards and service sections are more self-contained. A card shows a photo and the key facts; a service section explains the offer and gives the customer a next step. Shared components keep them consistent.

The larger task is choosing how these parts fit together: which services need their own page, what belongs in the menu and what a customer needs to know before making an enquiry.

What works well

The catalog is prominent, but selling and servicing are still easy to find. The site can help customers with several needs instead of only those looking to buy a car.

Photos make the cars worth exploring; concise specifications help people compare them. Together, they support both casual browsing and a search for a particular model.
